That’s what the Willkomm family had in mind when they developed the concept for THE DISH restaurant. Our ultimate goal while planning was to quickly serve made-to-order gourmet food in about five minutes or less.  The concept just took off from there!

Mike and Jim Willkomm have plenty of experience with speedy service. As third-generation business owners, the co-owners of the Willkomm Companies operate five Mobil gas stations, a PETRO Travel center on the I-94 corridor with an Iron Skillet restaurant, an Exxon Mobil gas distributorship and a Burger King franchise.

“We’ve always been quality and speed-conscious, so we thought let’s roll that into a restaurant,” Jim Willkomm said.  We didn’t want typical fast food, he said.  So he sat down with his high school friend and restaurant manager, Val Secor, to develop the extraordinary menu. Everything is homemade, quality foods from the soups and salads to the paninis and sandwiches.  The signature thin crust pizzas are baked to perfection in a stone hearth oven.

Guests are invited to enjoy the completely renovated dining space (adult beverages available) or choose to have tantalizing food to go at the Drive-Thru window!
